🚚 Join Our Team at Domino’s as a Transport Shift Manager (Days)! 🍕

Are you wanting to make a difference in the world of food, if so, we need you! our Transport Manager Clare and her team are on the lookout for their next Transport Shift Manager for Days, this will be based in Warrington.  Your role involves leading, motivating and developing our operational team to ensure they meet legislative obligations aswell as maintaining adequate staffing levels, managing absences and authorising overtime with justification.  You’ll manage the D365 system within transport so you can ensure that all purchase requests are processed in a timely manner and purchase orders are placed appropriately.  In addition, you will initiate investigations into the root causes of vehicle and personal accidents, interview staff to determine responsibility, take actions based on your findings and submit reports to the Transport Manager and Health and Safety Manager.

Knowledge & Skills

• An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
• An understanding of Food Safety Standards
• Good understanding of Transport Legislation, Working Time Directive, EU Driver’s Hours and Tachograph law
• Experience and understanding of working to ISO accreditation
• Previous supervisory experience ideally gained within a Transport environment
• Experience of hygiene procedures, standards and equipment in the chilled food industry
• Ideally CPC Licence
