Quality Assurance Manager – Shape how we deliver quality, every day
Milton Keynes | Occasional travel to Avonmouth
At Domino’s, your skills, ideas and judgement really matter.
We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Milton Keynes for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, helping make sure our site is compliant, audit-ready and delivering the high standards our stores and customers depend on.
You'll be at the heart of food safety and quality on site. From audits and quality systems to investigating issues and driving improvements, this is an opportunity to use your technical expertise where it makes a real, visible difference.
This is a maternity cover position and a business-critical hire, so we're looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly, build strong relationships across the site and confidently take ownership of the quality agenda.
What You’ll Bring
You’re someone who wants to be close to the action. You ask good questions, notice the details others might miss and are comfortable challenging how things are done when there’s a better way.
You'll work closely with teams across our Milton Keynes Supply Chain Centre, so being collaborative matters just as much as knowing your quality standards. You should also be comfortable working independently and taking ownership when something needs sorting.
We're looking for:
- At least two years' experience working in quality assurance, giving you practical, hands-on experience of quality systems, compliance and audit readiness.
- Working knowledge of recognised food safety and quality standards, particularly ISO 22000 and/or BRC, alongside practical understanding of GMP and hygiene standards.
- Experience of auditing, assessing compliance and following through on corrective actions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively and constructively challenge stakeholders at different levels.
- A full driving licence and the ability to travel occasionally to Avonmouth.
A food-related degree or diploma, such as Food Science or Food Technology, would be useful, but relevant practical experience is important too.
You'll need to already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship isn't available for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a practical QA role where you'll be visible across the site, working with colleagues to keep standards high rather than managing quality from behind a desk.
You'll help maintain our Quality Management System and make sure Domino’s procedures are applied consistently at site level, supporting food safety, legal compliance and product quality across manufacturing, storage and distribution.
In particular, you'll:
- Keep us audit-ready. You'll validate compliance through audits, product testing and verification exercises, conduct GMP and hygiene audits, and help prepare the site for statutory, second-party and third-party audits. You'll make sure actions are followed through and closed properly.
- Own and improve our quality systems. You'll support our Quality Systems Manual, procedures, SOPs and records while driving continuous improvement through document control, non-conformance management and complaints.
- Turn quality information into action. You'll monitor areas including microbiological standards, GMP, hygiene, customer complaints, non-conformances and product quality, working with site teams to identify trends, solve problems and improve performance.
You'll also bring technical expertise when issues arise, helping the team resolve problems quickly while protecting food safety, quality and the Domino’s brand.
How We Will Support You
Bring your flavour, and we'll back your future.
You'll be joining an experienced team in an environment where quality matters and where you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively across the site.
Here’s what you can expect:
- A clear, confidence-building induction to help you understand our site, standards and what success looks like from day one.
- Support from experienced colleagues, while still having the freedom to use your judgement and take ownership of your area.
- Opportunities to broaden your experience and build your capability, including exposure that can help prepare you for your next step into management.
- Recognition when you make a difference, from everyday thank-yous to bigger moments such as our Domi Awards.
We want you to bring your expertise and ideas, not simply follow what's always been done. That's part of how we keep improving together
